Merrickville, Ontario on the Rideau River
Another beautiful village along the Historic Rideau River. Merrickville Ontario is about 1 hour drive south of Ottawa, Ontario. Visit the local crafts shops and restaurants, or take a boat ride on the Rideau River.
Manotick Classic Boat Show

Pirate Adventures on Mooney's Bay, Ottawa Ontario
Kids of all ages will enjoy this side trip when you are visiting the Capital City of Canada, Ottawa Ontario. Located about 1/2 hour from downtown is Mooney's Bay on the Rideau River system where you can take a journey on the Pirate Adventures pirate ship and fight the evil Pirate Pete and steal his booty of gold and other treasures. Kayaking on the Gitche Gumee - Lake Superior Ontario
We filmed this about 45 minutes north of Sault Ste Marie Ontario on a small bay on Lake Superior called Horseshoe Bay, and about an hour south of the Lake Superior Provincial Park. The Lake is beautiful, almost feels like the ocean.
